A New Chapter Begins: Launching the Greenwich Peninsula Islamic Centre Charitable Trust

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Greenwich Peninsula Islamic Centre Charitable Trust, a new endeavour dedicated to serving and enriching our vibrant community. This significant milestone marks the beginning of an exciting journey, and we are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm already shown.
To begin, we held our inaugural community meeting on Friday 20 June 2025. This launch meeting brought together key stakeholders, dedicated community members and passionate individuals. The discussions were productive, focusing on the future strategic directions, core objectives and the operational framework that will guide our Trust. We explored our shared vision, discussed potential initial projects, and laid the groundwork for a transparent and effective governance structure. The engagement and feedback received were invaluable, reinforcing our commitment to building a Trust that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of the Greenwich Peninsula community.
